Evaluation & Transparency

Judging Process & Avoiding Bias

To maintain absolute integrity, our judging process strictly adheres to the following rules:

  • Judges will not evaluate applications submitted by immediate family members or business partners and must abstain from reviewing any application where they perceive a potential bias or conflict of interest.
  • The application scoring by the individual judges will be anonymous to the other judges until the application period is closed and all judges complete their scoring.
  • The highest scoring applicants will be invited to an interview and scored on a separate form.
  • The interview scores decide the finalists. The initial application scores will not carry over to the interview score.
